INKEF is looking for an intern to support the healthcare team during a 6-month placement starting around October 2021. We are searching for candidates with a passion for life science innovations and an interest in learning about their commercial applications, coupled with a highly proactive and open-minded attitude. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to experience first-hand all the aspects of deal sourcing and investment process, while being part of a diverse team characterized by multidisciplinary backgrounds. Job Description

  • Support the healthcare investment team during a fixed term placement (6 months)
  • Initial screening and documenting of deal flow incoming through all channels
  • Contribute to deal sourcing, with evaluations of companies from events and other sources
  • Attend, together with other team members, meetings with prospective portfolio companies
  • Assist in the analysis of investment opportunities under the guidance of other team members, such as compiling competitors reviews, transactions and market size data and other relevant deal specific research
  • Draft, together with other team members, investment memorandum highlighting the investment thesis for prospective deals
  • Support portfolio work with ad hoc analysis
  • The position is Amsterdam (NL) based



  • Strong scientific background in Life Science, Biology, Medicine or related topics
  • Previous experience in research or business environment is preferred
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills; attention to detail, pro-active and self-motivated
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience and ease to integrate in highly multicultural environments is necessary
  • High level of energy, enthusiasm and commitment to success
