Concentric is a venture capital fund that invests into early-stage European software businesses. Based in London and Copenhagen, we strive to cover most geographies across the continent. Investing between €0.5 - €5m, we lead rounds and look to add value at the critical moments of a young company’s evolution.
Recent years have been turbulent. Driving that turbulence, both good and bad, is technology; it’s increasing pace of development and the increasing power of it. We would further posit that never before has humanity been on the cusp of so many new technological breakthroughs at the same time. From the commercialisation of machine learning, a new monetary system in bitcoin, the ability to edit genes in vitro or manufacture in space; possible avenues of intellectual but also business exploration are endless.
At Concentric, we are keen observers of these developments at the technological frontier but also as old and more traditional industries automate and adopt technology. We simply look to deploy capital into technology companies that are meaningful and those that will play a significant and positive role in the story of human civilisation.

The working routine is flexible, and an intern can work remotely or at our office in Soho.

Time commitment: ~20 hours per week, minimum 2 days in the office (under ‘normal’ circumstances)
Length: Flexible (3-6 months)
Salary: £1,500 per month pro-rata
The firm is meritocratic, flat in structure and extremely hard-working. Our always-on mentality means output is high, without sacrificing quality. Each member of the team is trusted to work autonomously and independently but we gather as a team, at least once a week, to discuss priorities, challenges and key learnings.
