A Boston based investment firm that has global presence is looking for a VC Analyst Intern. Looking to add a diverse talent for summer VC analyst intern role to work directly with one of the Boston Partner, as a trusted executor. This is a 6 month role and can extend to a full time position.
Below are the job descriptions:
- Managing Partner's calendar, schedule, emails, attending meetings, representing Partner in external events and continue to maintain relationships in investment ecosystem.
- Creating and managing processes that deliver world-class services and experiences to the venture fund's ecosystem among investors and entrepreneurs.
- Managing and tracking relationships and communication within the fund Partners, their various internal and external relationships, community and partner networks.
- This role is an entry level position but will engage across all functions within the fund and that includes the ecosystem of institutional investors, top ranked GPs and communicating with large institutional LPs.
- Reviewing new opportunities, special projects, partner branding/marketing, investor engagement, and management of Partner's schedule request. This role is a balance between strategy and sharp execution.
This position is not:
- Not A partner-track role, but have an opportunity to be a Full time Analyst. Instead, it is an ideal opportunity to get involved and building incredible branding and relationship in investment industry.
- This position is a learning opportunity for many who wants to grow in venture capital community and may lead to full time Full time Analyst role based on performance. Currently this is not an investment role, but may lead to work with the investment team.
What they are looking for:
- Future project manager czar and good public speaker and highly articulated, well read person.
- Strong communication skill both verbal and written.
- Preferably from Ivy League school.
- Bachelor degree required.
- Curious and fast learner.
- Strong interest in startup community, venture capital finance, science and technology.
- Understanding of public and private market investing trends.
- This role requires to work with top investment industry leaders, CXOs of multi-billion dollar firms, large financial institutions, so the candidate must posses gravity, smartness and eloquence with a strong presence of mind.

- Must have proficiency in MS office and basic social media, tech skills.
- Video editing software skill will be preferred. May need to help strategize recorded zoom video meetings for later purpose use in broader team meetings.
- This is a high visibility role in venture capital community. This person may represent VC firm in many accelerators and other events during their tenure.
Position is remote. This internship position has no compensation now.
