Well, that’s a wrap on our guide into building a career in VC. Make sure to utilize the other resources such as the Notion database and templates during the recruitment process. Many people go into this blind so you’re already at an advantage with this hand book. The purpose of this handbook is to give you insights into the inner workings of the VC indusry but it’s not a one size fits all. Besides understanding the foundation of venture, the goal is to identify what your unique advantage is. What sets you apart in the industry?

As with any career, patience and persistence are key. Make sure you are building communities and support systems along the way. The more we bring our knowledge and experiences into the public, the more we can build an industry with greater accessibility and diversity. Overtime slowly chipping away at VCs' mysterious reputation. Additionally if you don’t land a VC role at the beginning of your career or during your first attempt, do not be discouraged. As we discussed, many experiences and backgrounds can be met with a transition into VC.
